As vice president of Weber State’s chapter of AIGA (American Institute of Graphic Arts), I’ve had the privilege of collaborating with a talented group of designers from my school. Serving as an AIGA officer has provided me with numerous opportunities and responsibilities, including organizing activity-based events for students, designing branding for the BFA show each semester, leading workshops, and attending design conferences. This section of my portfolio highlights some of the projects I’ve worked on alongside my fellow AIGA officers. I am incredibly grateful for the sense of community this group has given me.
Pictured to the left are my friends (and fellow AIGA members) Graicee Gibby, Addie Cantwell, Sydney Dejong, and me at the Adobe Max 2024 conference in Miami, FL.

BFA Branding
Each semester, the graduating students in the BFA (Bachelors of Fine Arts) program at Weber State University compile their work to display at the BFA show. All branding and advertising design for this event is done by AIGA officers. These designs are a collaborative effort between all members of the AIGA.

Workshops
Workshops in Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign inspired by courses taken at Adobe Max: I lead the workshop in photoshop which demonstrated how to use displacement maps in order to add dimension and texture to a design. My fellow AIGA members led the Illustrator and InDesign sessions, which I helped facilitate. To maintain a cohesive visual identity, we used my poster design (seen at the top of this page) as the foundation for our branding system. Attendees left with a cheat-sheet zine filled with tips and key shortcuts for each program, ensuring they could keep refining their skills beyond the workshops.
