Concert Branding

I created a set of branded graphics for a fictional live music event featuring Louis Laurent, vocalist of the former indie band The Red Skirts. Drawing inspiration from the hopelessly romantic music style of the band I designed two distinct posters, a sweatshirt, and an Instagram graphic to capture the event’s unique vibe. Each graphic utilizes hand-drawn elements that target the raw, unprocessed emotions felt through the Red Skirts' music.

The serene image of a swan on the water reflects the feeling of the band's music. The branding for this live music event takes on a soft, dreamy feel without compromising the grunge that compliments themes of hopeless romance. I opted for an abstracted swan form that reflects the shape of the capitalized letter "L" which is repeated in Louis Laurent's' name. The abstracted form also guides the viewer into making their own interpretations of what they see and hear at the event.
